Obscura Mint Plaza Building Projection - 7 HD projectors over a 6,000 pixel plate Obscura Digital >>> Obscura Digital transforms building facades into multimedia light shows--and you have to check out their latest work, which used San Francisco's U.S. Mint as a backdrop. The piece was sponsored by McAfee, and Obscura made it by modeling the building in 3-D, then creating the media in 3DS Max (along with their own proprietary software). Ricky and the boys hoisted 5 20K Christies up to the 4th floor balcony overlooking the plaza. The other two were stacked away on the ground and off at a 40 degree angle from the smaller building.
